IBM opens 8th facility in China

IBM of Armonk, NY, has opened its eighth Healthcare Industry Solution Lab in Beijing.

The venture is designed help Chinese hospitals and rural medical cooperatives adopt digital medical records to improve patient care and reduce cost and medical errors.

IBM also unveiled new software to accelerate the adoption of electronic medical records in China.
