Healthcare information systems firm McKesson of Atlanta has been chosen to implement a clinical and revenue management information technology system throughout a Virginia medical center.
When the project is complete, Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake will have an electronic medical record system, an automated medication management process, and revenue management capabilities.
Implementation of the project will begin in June and should take two years to complete, McKesson said.
