McKesson taps new Technology Solutions president

Healthcare information systems firm McKesson of Atlanta has appointed Patrick Blake as executive vice president and group president of its Technology Solutions group.

Blake will have responsibility for all of the businesses within McKesson Technology Solutions, including McKesson Provider Technologies, McKesson Health Solutions, RelayHealth, and McKesson's International Operations Group. He succeeds Pamela Pure, who left McKesson in March.

Blake recently served as president of McKesson Specialty Care Solutions and led the acquisition of Oncology Therapeutics Network, McKesson said.
