Merge begins exchange offer for etrials

Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare said it has begun an exchange offer for all outstanding shares of clinical trials and software services company etrials Worldwide.

The two companies announced a merger agreement on May 30. The exchange offer will close on July 14, according to the Milwaukee-based vendor.
