Consulting firm True North Consulting and Associates has launched a new software tool designed to enable radiology departments in Canada to benchmark their operations against similar facilities.
True North's Clearica3 software is designed to help radiology departments increase and sustain higher levels of productivity. It enables facilities to collect real-time operational information from their RIS, PACS, and imaging modalities and compare that data to the hospital's own performance at other points in time, as well as to other facilities.
The Mississauga, Ontario, company believes that Clearica3 will enable Canadian hospitals to meet the Canadian government's initiative on reducing patient waiting times.
