GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has been awarded a contract by the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health System to install its Centricity filmless and paperless central database and radiology image storage system.
The $12.5 million project marks the first phase of installation of an electronic health records system that will be used by 10 public hospitals and more than 500 clinics throughout LSU.
