Siemens, Impac expand collaboration

Siemens Healthcare and oncology software developer Impac Medical Systems of Sunnyvale, CA, have extended their software distribution agreement to 2016. In addition, Siemens has added Impac's Mosaiq software to its oncology portfolio.

Under the deal, Malvern, PA-based Siemens will offer Mosaiq as its next-generation oncology information system to its current offering, Lantis. Siemens Lantis customers will have the option of upgrading to Mosaiq or continuing to utilize their Lantis systems, according to Siemens.

Siemens said it will extend service support and application training to include Mosaiq.
