RIS/PACS vendor Brit Systems introduced its UrgentWorks Web-based critical results reporting application at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) annual meeting this week in Las Vegas.
UrgentWorks supports the flagging of urgent findings, critical test results, and ER discordance by reporting clinicians, and it enables immediate communication and ongoing tracking of results to the ordering physician, according to the Dallas-based firm. It's a 100% browser/Ajax application, which allows all updates to critical results and urgent findings to be immediately available across the enterprise, Brit said.
Critical findings and communications histories can be viewed and updated by all involved users on the browser interface, according to the vendor. No installation of a client or download is required to use UrgentWorks, Brit said.
