Speech recognition firm Nuance Communications has released updates to its SpeechMagic line, according to the Burlington, MA-based company.
The vendor introduced version 7 of SpeechMagic, which now includes updated speech recognition technology, improved user-specific adaptation, a new SpeechMagic Client, an updated SpeechMagic Workstation, and support for Microsoft Windows 7.
Nuance also launched version 2.0 of SpeechMagic Solution Builder, a clinical documentation application for German-speaking countries, as well as Finland and Spain. This package comes with improved online speech recognition features and now facilitates medical reporting and a new auto-text feature that allows doctors to insert standard text paragraphs by voice command, according to Nuance.
