Radiology application developer Primordial of San Francisco has won a contract to install its Primordial Search radiology report search application at Christiana Care Health System, one of the largest health providers in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.
The deal with Christiana Care brings to 22 the number of hospitals using the tool.
Primordial Search allows users to access reports using simple or advanced queries in a Google-like interface, according to Primordial. The application is provided on a single search appliance installed in the user's data center, and it preloads old reports from the user's archive, either through queries of the PACS report archive or through H7 backloads.
