RIS/PACS vendor Brit Systems has introduced new Roentgen RIS electronic medical record (EMR) Web-based tools at the RSNA meeting in Chicago.
The just released capabilities include computerized physician order entry (CPOE), creating and sharing Continuity of Care Records (CCRs), and the ability to generate reports that are compatible with personal health records such as Google Health, the Dallas-based company said.
The new tools are intended to expand workflow capabilities for radiology groups and departments that do not yet have an EMR system in place.
