Halfpenny launches smartphone app

Halfpenny Technologies of Blue Bell, PA, has introduced ITF-Mobile, a handheld results reporting system that enables users to securely access radiology, pathology, and laboratory test reports via a BlackBerry, iPhone, or Android-powered smartphone.

ITF-Mobile provides physicians with visual and audio alerts of incoming clinical messages and abnormal results. The system can be programmed with user-preferred filters, such as notification of only abnormal and critical results.

The system is equipped with autotrending capabilities to enable users to select specific tests and diagnostic procedures and to monitor trends.
