MedInformatix lands Ore. RIS install

Los Angeles-based MedInformatix has landed an installation of its RIS software at Epic Imaging of Portland, OR.

Epic will use the MedInformatix RIS to manage operations from patient scheduling and registration through technologist and radiologist workflows to billing, electronic data interchange, custom reporting, and collections at its four locations.

Epic also plans to roll out MedInformatix's patient portal to enable patients to complete their registration prior to arriving for their appointments.
