Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Hartland, WI, has taken two orders for its Anesthesia Information Management System (AIMS).
Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver and Kalispell Regional Medical Center and the Surgery Center of Northwest Healthcare in Kalispell, MT, have signed contracts for the technology.
Merge AIMS features advanced decision support for the documentation of anesthesia care and reporting on national quality measures. It also includes an anesthesia drug management system that supports barcode scanning for enhanced safety at the point of care.
