Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, PA, has been awarded a five-year $25 million contract for medical equipment and healthcare IT consulting services by Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
The upgraded medical infrastructure initiative is part of the Rush Transformation, a 10-year campus redevelopment plan that includes a new hospital building scheduled to open in January 2012.
Siemens also will provide CT scanners, 3-tesla MRI systems for neurological imaging, digital radiography systems, and digital fluoroscopy units, along with healthcare IT services.
