Radiology informatics developer Integrated Modular Systems (IMSI) of Havertown, PA, plans to launch a new digital dictation and report package at the upcoming RSNA meeting.
The company's imsiVoice-Interactive offers an interactive interface to its imsiRIS-X2 and imsiPACS software, as well as to RIS and PACS software from other vendors. It also coordinates the PACS worklist, launches windows for medical images, and provides previous history.
Meanwhile, the company's imsiVoice-Interactive software produces reports using voice recognition, such as Dragon Naturally Speaking, and automatically transmits reports to RIS, HIS, electronic medical record (EMR), and fax and e-mail services, according to IMSI.
The company will also showcase imsiIntegratedImage for managed access to physician portals, EMRs, and image management systems: Any vendor's patient data management system can connect with the company's imsiIntegratedImage thin-client browser viewer to display the appropriate images with access control provided by the vendor's system, IMSI said.
