Sg2 names Lefar as president

Healthcare analytics firm Sg2 has named Steve Lefar as president, a new position at the company.

Lefar will be responsible for all operations and will focus on expanding the company's client base and industry relationships, according to Michael Sachs, Sg2's chairman and CEO.

Lefar previously served as president and general manager of MediRegs, a company specializing in information services and workflow tools for healthcare compliance that he helped cofound in 2002, and which Wolters Kluwer acquired in 2007. Lefar has also been a senior vice president at Allscripts.
