Agfa HealthCare has received a contract from WellStar Health System of Georgia to provide its Impax RIS and reporting technology.
WellStar's relationship with Agfa HealthCare began in 2001 via the company's Impax PACS software. When implementation was completed in 2005, 10 imaging centers and five hospitals were integrated with Agfa HealthCare's PACS, allowing 2,500 clinicians access to imaging information.
The RIS and reporting technology will be implemented later this year.
