Medical coding provider CodeRyte has unveiled plans to enter the health system coding (HSC) market in 2011 with a new product that incorporates its natural language processing technology.
Designed to create a full picture of patient care during the lifecycle of treatment, the HSC product will make use of language patterns within supporting documentation to allow for contextual interaction through the health information management process, according to the vendor.
The company said it anticipates an initial wave of clients organizing system-wide automated coding in the fourth quarter via multihospital deployments.
