Philips Healthcare said that version G.00.20 of its OB TraceVue obstetrical information management system has been certified as an electronic health record (EHR) module by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT).
As a result, users can qualify for federal meaningful use funding under the U.S. Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, according to the vendor. CCHIT is an Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB).
