The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has issued an invitation for any entity involved in healthcare IT to participate in the sixth annual National Health IT Week scheduled for September 12 to 16.
National Health IT Week serves as a neutral platform for public and private healthcare constituents to raise awareness about the value of health IT among industry leaders and policymakers, according to HIMSS.
The week will feature a variety of local and regional activities sponsored by organizations from Maine to Hawaii, with the majority of activities taking place in Washington, DC. This will include a Capitol Hill press conference and the 10th annual HIMSS Policy Summit.
HIMSS said that vendors, provider organizations, payors, industry and professional associations, and research foundations are invited to become a partner in the week by submitting a 75- to 100-word company overview and a logo to [email protected].
