Medical coding provider CodeRyte has inked a contract with Weill Cornell Medical Center to incorporate DataScout into Weill Cornell's suite of CodeRyte products.
DataScout is designed to identify and extract clinical information from free-text and structured medical records.
Weill Cornell's radiology department will use DataScout to focus on quality metrics around Medicare outpatient requirements, clinical pathways such as identifying patients with deep vein thrombosis, and internal efforts to ensure imaging appropriateness.
