Radiology IT provider MedQ announced it has sold its Q/ris 3000 software to Community Portable X-Ray, a provider of mobile imaging services throughout Texas.
The sale incorporates order entry through automatic report distribution and billing, the firm said. The software operates in both online and offline modes to meet the operational requirements of mobile and portable imaging, especially in remote geographic areas.
An upfront insurance verification capability automates the process of identifying patients' health insurance coverage. It includes a full charge-capture program designed specifically for mobile imaging, which handles Medicare Parts A and B, facility and split billing, and automated trip and set-up charge calculation.
