The U.S. Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Office of the Chief Privacy Officer recently released an instructional guide designed to help healthcare practitioners, staff, and other professionals better understand the role of privacy and security in electronic health records (EHRs) and meaningful use.
The "Guide to Privacy and Security of Health Information" is designed as a reference tool to help providers and professionals integrate privacy and security into their clinical practices.
