Speech recognition and transcription technology developer M*Modal has hired Kathryn Twiddy as chief legal officer.
Twiddy, who comes to M*Modal after serving as vice president and senior associate general counsel at Quintiles Transnational in Durham, NC, is now responsible for all legal matters at the company, including intellectual property, mergers/acquisitions, employment law, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
She replaces General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Secretary Mark Sullivan who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. Sullivan will remain with the firm until July 1 to assist in the transition.
