Imaging software developer DataPhysics Research (DPR) has inked two collaboration deals, one with speech recognition and transcription technology developer M*Modal and the other with RIS/PACS company ClearCanvas.
Under DPR's agreement with M*Modal, it will embed that company's Fluency Direct technology into its CaseReader postprocessing, structured reporting software package. Integrating the two will improve radiologists' productivity, according to DPR.
As for the agreement with ClearCanvas, DPR and the Canadian firm will collaborate on marketing and sales efforts for CaseReader, which ClearCanvas will incorporate into its diagnostic workstations, PACS, and RIS, DPR said.
