Radiation oncology firm Elekta plans to highlight upgrades to its Mosaiq oncology information system at the upcoming American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting in Chicago.
New enhancements include IQ Scripts, a tool that launches a customizable "script" of activities that connect to each other, and upgrades to eScribe Merge Fields, which allow users to put clinical, insurance, and scheduling information about the patient in eScribe documents, the company said.
The system also features an integrated Survivorship module that allows physicians to create a patient-specific treatment summary with recommendations for follow-up, and the American Cancer Society's clinician portal can now be launched directly from Mosaiq, according to Elekta.
