Billing software developer Xifin said it has appointed a new vice president of radiology solutions.
David Byrd brings nearly two decades of healthcare-related and business development experience in the radiology provider market to Xifin; he most recently served as senior vice president of business development for MedData. Prior to MedData, Byrd was vice president of business development at A-Life Medical, a provider of computer-assisted coding products and services to the radiology market, according to Xifin.
Xifin delivers cloud-based revenue cycle management packages that allow diagnostic service providers to improve cash collections, the firm said.
