A 15-physician radiology group has chosen healthcare information systems firm McKesson's Revenue Management Solutions (RMS) to manage its billing services operation, according to McKesson.
Binghamton, NY-based Park Avenue Associates in Radiology (PAR) said that RMS will help stabilize cash flow and strengthen regulatory compliance while offering detailed financial reporting and claims support services. McKesson's comprehensive business reporting tools will provide a wide range of business metrics, including revenue per procedure and physician productivity data, that will allow it to identify and act on operational trends quickly, according to PAR.
RMS' experience with local payor policies, rates, and procedures was an important factor in its selection, PAR said.
