Health IT software company Orion Health has opened a new office in Singapore.
The Auckland, New Zealand-headquartered company said that it established the branch office to offer improved services to its growing base of customers across Southeast Asia. Orion Health's expansion into Singapore follows its acquisition of Microsoft's Amalga hospital information system, RIS, and PACS software business in Southeast Asia.
The company also opened a new headquarters facility in Auckland this week to accommodate an expanding staff and steady global growth. The new headquarters will accommodate a planned staff increase from 440 to 680 employees.New Zealand's prime minister, John Key, officiated at the opening ceremony.
