Speech recognition and transcription technology developer M*Modal has expanded its existing contract with Johns Hopkins Medicine to provide transcription services and install the company's Natural Language Understanding technology.
M*Modal currently provides transcription services for the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Under the new agreement, M*Modal will expand these services to other Johns Hopkins Medicine facilities. Johns Hopkins will also begin using M*Modal Fluency for Transcription to manage transcription workloads, maximize throughput, and maintain quality standards, according to M*Modal.
