Software developer Compressus plans to highlight the newest update of its MEDxConnect software, version 4.1, at next month's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
MEDxConnect is designed to be an information hub that facilitates information exchange between data acquisition, medical imaging, and clinical systems. Version 4.1 includes new features such as the ability to use drag-and-drop tools to customize workflow in 30 to 60 minutes to improve efficiency and workload balance. The feature can help sites adapt to changes in patient volume, scanner downtime, or other occurrences.
The new version also enables users to connect to third-party systems as a plug-in. This can make it easier to connect software for applications such as billing, voice recognition, and peer review to the MEDxConnect Enterprise Service Bus.
Version 4.1 has been running in a development environment at Medical Imaging Northwest in Puyallup, WA.
