Imaging informatics firm Viztek plans to unveil several new products at the 2012 RSNA meeting later this month.
The company's new RIS features a range of electronic health record (EHR) functionality for freestanding radiology clinics, while serving as a RIS for hospitals that is certified under the U.S. government's meaningful use program.
Opal-EHR offers EHR certification for ambulatory care facilities, while enabling enhanced management of schedules based on time frames for insurance authorizations, procedure types, and insurance company requirements.
Viztek will also debut its Dynamic system for digital radiography (DR) and fluoroscopy applications to produce static-mode DR images in as fast as five seconds. It features a 17 x 17-inch panel that eliminates the need for rotation.
