The U.S. Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) has launched a new application database for individuals interested in being a member of its HIT standards committee and HIT policy committee.
The ONC has been inviting interested individuals to submit applications, and with the database, the organization has streamlined the application process.
The announcement by the ONC was published in the Federal Register on November 6, 2012.
