Merge receives Fla. contract

Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare said it has received an order from Tampa General Hospital in Florida for its CTMS for Investigators product for the enterprise-wide management of clinical trials.

Tampa General Hospital plans to use CTMS to manage more than 500 active studies annually across all therapeutic areas, and to track study activities for more than 100 study coordinators.

CTMS can be integrated into an existing electronic medical record system at Tampa General Hospital for users to access study data from a centralized database at the facility.
