GE Healthcare has released Centricity Practice Solution 11, an upgraded version of its integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and practice management system.
Centricity Practice Solution is designed to help healthcare providers comply with new ICD-10 coding requirements, GE said. Both ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes come preloaded in the patient chart and are delivered through a search engine, enabling providers to assign diagnosis codes.
Additionally, the search engine uses an algorithm to predict common search terms and map ICD-9 codes to ICD-10 codes, allowing providers to see links between the two systems.
