Digital writing technology developer Anoto and NextGen Healthcare Information Systems have deployed their NextPen digital writing system at Metro Imaging, an imaging center with five locations in the St. Louis area.
Working with NextGen reseller GBS, Metro Imaging is using NextPen to immediately import relevant structured data directly into its NextGen Ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) system, according to the vendors. This will allow for increased practice efficiencies and attainment of meaningful use, the companies said.
