Electronic health record (EHR) software developer MedInformatix has installed its RIS at Carolina Regional Radiology (CRR) in Fayetteville, NC.
The imaging and interventional practice will use the MedInformatix RIS with EHR version 7.5 to collect and track a year's worth of patient health data related to its participation in the stage 1 meaningful use program, according to MedInformatix.
CRR expects to receive incentive bonuses from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services this year after 18 radiologists collected patient data over 90 days during the initial phase of the program in 2012, the company said.
