Speech recognition technology developer M*Modal has received an order from Wellmont Health System in Kingsport, TN, for its Fluency Direct and Fluency for Imaging speech recognition technology.
The Fluency packages will be used by Wellmont to provide enterprise-wide transcription, front-end speech recognition, workflow, and reporting for electronic medical records and radiology systems, according to the vendor. M*Modal has provided Wellmont with transcription services since 2009, and it will now become the health system's sole provider of clinical documentation services across all of its facilities.
