PACS firm Intelerad Medical Systems has formed a new clinical decision-support (CDS) group.
The Toronto-based organization is made up of software developers who will focus on adding evidence-based decision support and data mining to Intelerad's portfolio.
The group will work on integrating worklists to balance reading demand with reading capabilities, in addition to developing decision-support tools that leverage report data mining to improve patient outcomes, compliance, and reimbursements while reducing litigation risk.
The CDS group will also work on the development of real-time dashboards, data visualization, and analytics, Intelerad said.
