Radiology IT provider MedQ has won a contract to install its dictation and reporting software at Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown, ND.
Jamestown Regional runs the Centricity PACS-IW software from GE Healthcare, and MedQ's application will be integrated with the GE software. The installation includes a voice-recognition-based dictation program set up to receive images from multiple locations using the Q/ris Reading Services software, as well as an integrated Q/ris 3000 critical test results notification application.
Jamestown Medical will be able to fully automate its report creation process with the installation to improve operational and clinical productivity and reduce report turnaround times, according to MedQ.
