Ultrasound image management firm Digisonics' cardiovascular information system (CVIS) has been selected by two new facilities.
The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD, and Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, TX, will begin using the CVIS for cardiovascular image review and structured reporting.
Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center will have fully functional Web access to the entire cardiology PACS and structured reporting system, facilitating report turnaround. A DataLink interface with the center's ultrasound scanner will autopopulate the patient demographics and measurements directly into the Digisonics cardiovascular report, Digisonics said.
