Clinical decision-support software developer MedCurrent has inked a contract with a Pennsylvania medical center for its OrderRight radiology decision-support software.
Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is a 664-bed tertiary-care teaching hospital. It plans to use OrderRight to ensure appropriate diagnostic ordering, reduce unnecessary radiation exposure, and mitigate diagnostic costs, according to MedCurrent. OrderRight is integrated into the Millennium electronic medical record ordering system from Cerner, MedCurrent said.
