Speech recognition technology developer M*Modal and PACS accessories provider PACSGear plan to integrate their technologies.
PACSGear's ModLink software will be incorporated into M*Modal's Fluency for Imaging reporting package, so users can transfer structured report measurements directly, according to M*Modal.
M*Modal Fluency for Imaging allows radiologists to create electronic and encoded patient documents as well as improve their workflow. It can be further enhanced with M*Modal's Catalyst for Radiology, which aggregates data across multiple clinical systems, M*Modal said.
The companies will demonstrate each other's software in their respective booths at the upcoming RSNA 2013 meeting in Chicago.
