Radiation oncology firm Elekta has won a contract with a Michigan-based healthcare network for its Mosaiq oncology information system.
Under terms of the agreement, McLaren Health Care will use Mosaiq to centralize patient information across radiation oncology, particle therapy, and medical oncology into a single user interface, accessible across multiple locations, according to Elekta. The agreement also includes 15 linear accelerators, one Leksell Gamma Knife, seven brachytherapy systems, and Elekta's Monaco treatment planning system.
The deal is valued at more than $50 million, Elekta said.
McLaren Health Care includes hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, a proton therapy center, a network of cancer centers and providers, an employed primary care physician network, assisted living facilities, commercial and Medicaid HMOs, home healthcare and hospice, durable medical equipment, and retail pharmacy services, according to Elekta.
