Royal Philips, the parent company of Philips Healthcare, has formed a new business group called Healthcare Informatics Solutions and Services.
The group will offer hospitals and health systems customized clinical programs, advanced data analytics, and interoperable, cloud-based platforms, according to the firm. It will be led by Jeroen Tas, who previously served as Philips' chief information officer.
In addition, Philips Healthcare North America announced a new configuration of its sales organization. It plans to offer support for integrated delivery networks (IDNs) for its larger accounts, while continuing to work with standalone hospitals and the nonhospital market, the company said.
