Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare and healthcare communication software firm HIT Application Solutions have formed a partnership.
HIT Application Solutions' Notifi communications platform will be integrated with Merge's outpatient RIS software. The package, which will be marked as Merge Notifi, will initially automate appointment reminders and make patient results available through messages for Merge customers, HIT Application Solutions said.
Merge Notifi will be integrated within Merge RIS and Merge PACS as the partnership evolves, HIT Application Solutions said. In addition, the firms are exploring options to integrate Merge Notifi into Merge Cardiology products and the iConnect enterprise clinical platform.
