HIMSS attendance tops 2013 numbers

ORLANDO, FL - Preliminary numbers show a 9% increase in attendance at this year's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting.

As of the morning of February 26, attendance totaled 37,537, compared with 34,347 on the same day of the 2013 conference in New Orleans. The final tally for the 2012 meeting was 37,032 individuals.

HIMSS expects to have final numbers by the end of the week.
