Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has won 19 new contracts for its iConnect Network.
The advanced interoperability network for the exchange of clinical data meets the stage 2 requirements for the federal government's meaningful use (MU) healthcare IT stimulus program.
The new contracts include the following customers:
- Southern Illinois Healthcare
- MBB Radiology in Jacksonville, FL
- Radiology Imaging Assoc. in Denver
- Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center in Dallas
- St. Paul Radiology in St. Paul, MN
- Washington Radiology Assoc. in Fairfax, VA
The latest release of iConnect Network, version 2.0, delivers radiology reports natively into referring physician electronic health records; meets MU attestation by indicating when an imaging report was delivered, to whom, and when the images were accessed; simplifies system workflow and identifies physicians in the network with directory search capabilities; and accesses more reporting with links to diagnostic quality images uploaded directly into the provider's electronic health record.
