In this talk, researchers from the University of Pennsylvania will present Centaur, a free, Web-based module that provides instruction on how to grade the degeneration of the lumbar spine on MRI.
Centaur is the brainchild of presenter Dr. Alexander Ruutiainen, said senior author Dr. Tessa Cook, PhD.
"His goal was to standardize the grading of lumbar spine disease on MRI because this is a source of great variability among radiologists and, as a result, difficult for residents and fellows to learn," Cook said. "The module allows trainees to learn and practice their grading of disease in the lumbar spine in a mobile-friendly, Web-based environment."
